shying | [Action / Voice]

[Sometime this afternoon, one might notice something yellow and pink darting around in the woods, trying to be sneaky and failing miserably at it. Fluttershy has arrived, but she's very lost and very frightened, and while these woods are oddly familiar, it hasn't quite clicked with her where she is yet. And she seems to have already misplaced her journal... care to give her a guiding ~~hoof~~ hand?

Later on, when she's gotten herself somewhat established, her first visit will be to the Pony House, AKA House 45, to see if her friends are still there. (And then hopefully move herself in, because this place is kind of scary when rolling solo.)

After that, she'll spend some quality time in the plaza, still sticking somewhat close to the buildings as she's not used to being here yet, observing and looking awfully out of place. And eventually she'll track her journal down, at which point you get an entry that pretty much just shows her ears. She's not sure how this all goes yet.]

Um... h-hello? Is this working? I'm not sure it's working... oh! I'm sorry, my goodness, I- ...hello again... m-my name is Fluttershy. I wanted to... um, I mean, I thought I could... that is...

....

...eep!

[As Sultan becomes somehow even more excited and energetically sniffs her (or rather, shakes his tassel in her face),and the pony in turn appears unphased, Beast slowly begins to relax his shoulders and edge closer. While he is also relieved that they found his pet and it didn't leave much of a trace behind - he thinks - the expression on his face doesn't show it, only the hint of bashful curiosity as he watches the two "animals" interact.]

[Oh, how cute. It's not quite like being licked by a dog or anything - it's actually kind of ticklish - but he definitely acts like one. She lets him do as he pleases, lifting a hoof to pet his head, or where she hopes his head is, anyway.]

Goodness, you're sweet! But you know, your master was very worried about you. You should be more careful about running off like that.

[Beast gives a sheepish look in response to what Fluttershy tells Sultan, which the pet in question appears to take no heed of. Instead it revels in the petting she gives him, eventually rolling over to let her shift to his underside, legs shaking in his uncontained excitement.

His owner does finally say something properly at this moment, turning to the winged pony he'd just met.]

Th... thank you.

[Fluttershy happily indulges the pup, giving his tummy a good rub. It's a very strange dog, for sure, but totally sweet. She smiles up at Beast as she does it.]

It's no trouble at all! But I'm sorry, I never introduced myself to you... and I didn't get your name, either. Um, I'm Fluttershy.

[He nods. If he weren't so shy himself, he might notice how fitting the name is, but instead he just regards how similar it is to the other ponies' names.] I'm... Beast.

[Meanwhile, there will be no further sudden movements from Sultan. This attention alone is heaven for him and his master never provides it.]
